ST-12 Tablet/Netbook Mount Boom Arm Starbase Workstation.

Universal holder for 10in tablets or netbooks on a single link mounting arm mounted on our boom arm workstation. The Tablet Holder workstation gives you hands free support of your Tablet or Netbook computer when working or reading from your recliner, bed or wheelchair. Also works great at your desk, or for surfing the web while exercising on a stationary bike or treadmill.

Spring loaded platform Mounts devices from 8.5 to 11.25 inches.  This will hold devices such as most 9 or 10 inch tablets suchs as the iPad, Zoom, or 10.1 Galaxy tab. The spring loade base will hold these devices directly, or will take most devices installed in their protective cases. Options for the Star Base Workstations:

Options for the above boom arm workstations. Add a Drink Cup holder, or set up a workstation with two LCD screens, two Laptops, or one of each as shown above. These are similar to the items on the Workstation Components page, but have a rail clamping system ball base to attach to the boom arm instead of the flat surface ball base.

Boom Arm workstation with options.

Shown here is the Laptop Boom Arm Starbase workstation, with the optional mount for a Flatscreen monitor, and the universal self leveling drink cup holder. These components can be placed anywhere along the length of the boom arm. The position of the Laptop mount and LCD mount can also be swapped if you want the laptop to one side, and the LCD screen in front of you. Other options are two LCD mounts, or two laptop mounts on the boom arm.

Boom Arm and Boom Clamp assembly only.

This allow adding a second Boom Arm and Clamp to a Star Base workstation for added flexibility in attaching option. For example adding this option with the STA-04 Keyboard platform alows the Screen on an ST-04 workstion to be placed independently higher and further away that if both the LCD mount and keyboard mount were on the same boom arm. This option includes the 29 inch long 1 inch diameter Stainless Steel boom arm, and a Boom Arm to column clamp only. One of the weaknnesses of Laptop computers is the built-in pointing device. Now you can use a standard mouse or trackball for more comfort.

Highly adjustable platform for a mouse or trackball. Mouse platform may be attached anywhere along the boom arm, and can be set up for left for right hand use. Attaches to boom arm with highly adjustable yet very strong and stable ball and socket link arm. Wide variation of height and angle adjustabilty from at least -15 to +45 degrees tilt.

X-Grip Phone mount.

Spring loaded X-Grip with rubber coated tips securely yet gently grips your smartphone for ready access.  Quick and easy to load your phone in and out of the X-Grip in seconds.  Will hold most phones with or without their protective case.

Large Caster set for Starbase series.

Set of Five large casters with wheel locks. 100mm diameter with 7/16 x 7/8" friction ring stem. These wheels make it easier to move the workstation between rooms and over uneven surfaces such as threashold plates. Note that this adds about 2 inches to the height of the workstation, and to the clearance height under furniture Note the standard caster is 50mm(aprox 2inches)in diameter, and these are 100mm (aprox 4 inches) in diameter.

Ten pound base counterweight plate for Starbase series.

Acrylic window Book / Copy holder for Boom Arm Workstation.

Boom Rotation Locking Collar.

The Boom Rotation Locking Collar keeps the boom from swinging away if the keyboard is used in a near vertical position or if a touch screen communication device is being used in this manner. This is not normally needed when the keyboard is used in a normal position. Attaches to the starbase column with a setscrew, and just turn the knob to add additional drag to keep the boom from swinging away.

Std Duty 7/8in Tubing mount adapter for Boom Arm series.

Many assistive communication devices have a mounting adapter to attach them to a 7/8ths inch diameter tubing, and will not directly mount to the 1 inch diameter boom arm tube. This adapter comes with a length of 7/8inch steel tubing, and the double ball and socket arm which alows for angle adjustablity of the communication device and the boom arm. This unit will support devices that weigh Less Than TEN pounds.

Basket for StarBase series.

Great for storing books or other items like the mouse or remotes. Clamps onto column of Starbase series workstations. Steel mesh basket (9x12x12in) supported by clamp assembly. May be positioned anywhere along the larger part of the column. Will support up to 20 pounds in weight.

iPad II mount for Boom Arm series Workstations..

Custom molded mounting system for Apple iPad (tm). Securely holds the iPad, but easy to snap the iPad in and out of its custom holder. The STD series U-bolt base clamps onto the boom arm, or may be used without the u-bolt and attached with screws to any flat surface.

The double ball and socket mount easily adjusts to portrait or landscape positions as well as any angle forward/back or left/right. Note custom fit for the iPad itself, and will not hold an iPad in any kind of case.
