ST-04 VESA LCD Monitor Mount Boom Arm Starbase Workstation.

A Boom Arm Starbase workstation with a single link mounting arm for a LCD Flatscreen monitor mounted on the boom instead of the laptop mount. Use it just like our Monitor Jack series of workstations from your recliner, bed or wheelchair.

ST-14 HEAVY DUTY VESA LCD Monitor Mount Boom Arm Starbase Workstation.

The ST-14 is the same as the ST-04 but with a much "beefier" version of our VESA monitor mount for the Boom Arm Starbase Workstation. This VESA mount Will support the larger 19 to 22 inch LCD flatscreen monitors up to 22 pounds. This will also work with the Apple iMac G5 with its VESA Mount.

Options for the Star Base Workstations:

Options for the above boom arm workstations. Add a Drink Cup holder, or set up a workstation with two LCD screens, two Laptops, or one of each as shown above. These are similar to the items on the Workstation Components page, but have a rail clamping system ball base to attach to the boom arm instead of the flat surface ball base.

Boom Arm workstation with options.

Shown here is the Laptop Boom Arm Starbase workstation, with the optional mount for a Flatscreen monitor, and the universal self leveling drink cup holder. These components can be placed anywhere along the length of the boom arm. The position of the Laptop mount and LCD mount can also be swapped if you want the laptop to one side, and the LCD screen in front of you. Other options are two LCD mounts, or two laptop mounts on the boom arm.

Boom Arm and Boom Clamp assembly only.

This allow adding a second Boom Arm and Clamp to a Star Base workstation for added flexibility in attaching option. For example adding this option with the STA-04 Keyboard platform alows the Screen on an ST-04 workstion to be placed independently higher and further away that if both the LCD mount and keyboard mount were on the same boom arm. This option includes the 24 inch long 1 inch diameter Stainless Steel boom arm, and a Boom Arm to column clamp only. The STU-12 Upgrade below may be added at the time of ordering to upgrade the 24 inch boom to a 30inch boom.

Clamps onto Boom Arm of Starbase series workstations. Holds books up to text book size, magazines, or individual sheets. Sturdy back board with anodized aluminum base track. A transparent acrylic sheet holder keeps your place, but just swings forward to turn pages. The ball and socket arm mount alows for a wide range of angle and position.

Large Caster set for Starbase series.

Set of Five large caster, including two with wheel locks. 100mm diameter with 7/16 x 7/8" friction ring stem. These wheels make it easier to move the workstation between rooms and over uneven surfaces such as threashold plates. Note that this adds about 2 inches to the height of the workstation, and to the clearance height under furniture Note the standard caster is 50mm(aprox 2inches)in diameter, and these are 100mm (aprox 4 inches) in diameter.

Ten pound base counterweight plate for Starbase series.

Additional weight plate for use on Starbase Workstation series. This is a 10 pound steel "Olympic" style barbell weight plate. Aproximately 9inches diameter with a 2 inch diameter center hole. Style and color may vary due to availability.

Clipboard Copy holder for Boom Arm Workstation

This simple yet functional copy holder mounts on the Boom Arm of Starbase series workstations. A standard clipboard (included) just slides into a slot in the sturdy anodized aluminum base track. The mini ball and socket arm mount alows for easy positioning. Will hold any standard letter or legal size clipboard up to 1/4inch thick.

Extended Length Boom Arm Upgrade.

Replaces the standard 24 inch long Stainless Steel Boom Arm with a longer 30 inch boom arm. Allows for extra space when mounting two or more devices on the boom arm. It may also be ordered with the STA-00 additional boom arm and clamp to upgrade the boom to the 30 inch length. This upgrade can only be ordered with a Boom arm workstation at the time the workstation is ordered. It can NOT be order separately or at a later time. (see the SST-30 below for a replacement 30inch tube for existing, already shipped workstations).

30 inch Boom Arm Stainless Steel Tube Only.

30 inch Boom Arm Stainless Steel Tube Only, with no clamps or attachments. This tubing only may be ordered for existing, already shipped workstations to replace the standard 24 inch long Stainless Steel Boom Arm with a longer 30 inch boom arm. Allows for extra space when mounting two or more devices on the boom arm. See the lower cost STU-12 boom arm length upgrade above if placing an order for a new complete workstation. Use this SST-30 option if you are modifing a already shipped workstation.

A multi-use Thin Platform made from a tough laminated material. The platform is aproximately 12 deep by 8 inches wide, and is mounted to the boom arm with our highly adjustable ball and socket link arms.

Just the right size for a square mouse pad, or can be used as a smaller version of our STA-16.

Laminated Thin Platform - Large.

A multi-use Thin Platform made from a tough laminated material. The platform is aproximately 12 by 16 inches, and is mounted to the boom arm with our highly adjustable ball and socket link arms.

May be used as a mounting platform for a laptop if you don't need the clamping action of the RM-08S Laptop platform.

Great for use as a general purpose surface such as an adjustable platform for a phone or books. Will support up to ten pounds.

May also be used as a keyboard only platform.

STA-16 Laminated Thin Platform - Large Price: $120.00

Acrylic window Book / Copy holder for Boom Arm Workstation.

Clamps onto Boom Arm of Starbase series workstations. Holds books up to text book size, magazines, or individual sheets. Similar to our STA-09 Bookholder, but with a transparent Acrylic back board instead of the black laminate. The transparent back alows the bookholder to be turned around and tilted forward so the reading material may be placed face down on the transparent backboard for reading at in a reclined or laying down position.

Boom Rotation Locking Collar.

The Boom Rotation Locking Collar keeps the boom from swinging away if the keyboard is used in a near vertical position or if a touch screen communication device is being used in this manner. This is not normally needed when the keyboard is used in a normal position. Attaches to the starbase column with a setscrew, and just turn the knob to add additional drag to keep the boom from swinging away.

7/8in Tubing mount adapter for Boom Arm series.

Many assistive communication devices have a mounting adapter to attach them to a 7/8ths inch diameter tubing, and will not directly mount to the 1 inch diameter boom arm tube. This adapter comes with a length of 7/8inch steel tubing, and the double ball and socket arm which alows for angle adjustablity of the communication device and the boom arm. This unit will support devices that weigh up to ten pounds.

STA-21 7/8in Tubing mount adapter for Boom Arm series Price: $90.00

Heavy Duty 7/8in Tubing mount adapter for Boom Arm series.

Many assistive communication devices have a mounting adapter to attach them to a 7/8ths inch diameter tubing, and will not directly mount to the 1 inch diameter boom arm tube. This adapter comes with a length of 7/8inch steel tubing, and the double ball and socket arm which alows for angle adjustablity of the communication device and the boom arm. This is a heavier duty version of the STA-21 above, and will support up to 20 pounds in weight. Note additional base weight plates will be needed to counterbalance the heavier supported weight.
